Lisa Dale Miller, LMFT, LPCC, SEP specializes in Integrative Psychotherapy and Somatic Experiencing Therapy. She is the author of a highly regarded textbook on Buddhist psychology for mental health clinicians, Effortless Mindfulness: Genuine mental health through awakened presence and a recent chapter in The Handbook of Mindfulness: Society, Culture and Context. Lisa is a dharma teacher and has been a yogic and Buddhist meditation practitioner for over four decades.

This episode features Jose Calderón-Abbo, MD. A native of Mexico City, Dr. Calderón is board certified in psychiatry and addiction medicine, with an additional certification in mind-body medicine. In addition to his private practice in New Orleans, Dr. Calderón has served as Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at LSU School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry, Clinical Faculty with Tulane University Department of Psychiatry, and is national faculty for the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, D.C. Last month, Dr. Calderón embarked on a major career transition taking the helm as Medical Director of Behavioral Health for Louisiana with Optum/United Health Group.
